Buying a used vehicle, no matter how new or low mileage, can be risky if you don't have a good idea of the condition of the car.
Not all damage gets reported, and not all service is quality service, so it's important to have an experienced third party look over the vehicle before you commit to it.
Whether you are local or out of town, most dealers and independent sellers will drop off a vehicle with us for a PPI. We perform a thorough inspection of the vehicle and provide a written report.
We start with a quick walk around to rule out any deal-breaking issues while performing a full vehicle diagnostic scan. Paint and bodywork is inspected to check for accident damage or paint repairs.
If it passes this first inspection, we test drive the vehicle to make sure its running smoothly with no vibrations or noises. During this stage, we verify that interior features are operational such as A/C and heat, seats, windows, locks, sound system etc.
We then inspect under the hood to assess the condition of the engine and look for leaks, improper repairs, worn parts, or potential failure points.
The next step is putting the vehicle on a lift to check for additional accident damage, rust, and mechanical issues.
We inspect the wheels and tires, brakes, steering and suspension components, drive train and axles/bearings, as well as checking for leaks or anything out of place.
At this stage, we have a much better idea of the condition of the vehicle than just a test drive alone can provide. This inspection, combined with our years of experience, allows you to make a much more informed decision on your vehicle purchase.
Don't leave your next purchase to chance, call or message us today to set up a PPI!
